The show presents a wry and sidewards look at traditional English
eccentricities we so often take for granted. As an arts installation we
open for 5 hours each day. “Audience” can drop in anytime and stay as
little or as long as they want.
Bill and Vera's
‘friends' (members of the public who are unwittingly drawn in as ‘co
performers'), are invited to experience 1st hand a slice of one of the all time
greatest British pastimes, a windswept beach hut holiday by the sea.
Choose a stripy deck
chair .... play the Shipping Forecast game (a nautical, no
rules, word association game).... taste a slice of Vera's
home made cake (Battenberg is de rigour).... read literature on
the seaside and maritime pursuits .... paint watercolours at Bill's amateur art
class....take a dip into the briny. ...enjoy the endless cups
of tea, served to the relentlessly happy and eclectic sound track of Bill
and Vera's kitschvintage vinyl record collection.
The show is suitable
for a family audience of all ages 0-110.
